POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued a temporary suspension of the motorcycle-skills test at the Poplar Bluff examination station.
The motorcycle skills portion of the testing process will be temporarily suspended at the Poplar Bluff Driver Examination Station effective Monday through July 12 because of another event at the site, according to a news release issued by Capt. George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E in Poplar Bluff. Written examinations and Class E and F skills tests will be offered as scheduled. The motorcycle skills portion of the testing process is expected to resume at Poplar Bluff on July 15, the release said.
Alternate testing sites and times for the motorcycle skills test when the pavement is dry are: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday in Cape Girardeau; 10 a.m. Monday in Portageville, Mo.; 1 p.m. July 8, in Marble Hill, Mo.; 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday and July 9 in Caruthersville, Mo.; 10 a.m. Tuesday and July 9 in Sikeston, Mo.; 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 5 and 12 in Cape Girardeau; and 10 a.m. July 5 and 12 in Malden, Mo.
