The case against a Dexter, Mo., murder suspect has been passed to Nov. 21.

Glen Scott Evans, 45, faces two counts of armed criminal action and one count each of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery in connection with the shooting death of Sean Crow, 34, whose body was found Feb. 20 in a truck outside a fast-food restaurant in Advance, Mo.

Evans, who is in the Cape Girardeau County Jail, did not appear in court Monday after problems with the computer system that serves Missouri courts kept Judge William Syler from hearing cases Monday morning.

Last month, Evans' attorney, James McClellan, filed a motion to suppress statements Evans had made.

Syler set the motion for a hearing Nov. 21.

The case is in Cape Girardeau County on a change of venue from Stoddard County.

Matt Cook, 29, faces the same charges as Evans in the case. His case is pending in Dunklin County.

In September, McClellan said Evans is accused of driving Cook to where Crow was shot but had no prior knowledge that a murder was being planned.
