MOTEL HONORS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Victorian Inn has been honored with the "Commendation of Excellence" award from Mayflower Tours for a second consecutive year.

The award is presented by Mayflower, an escorted touring service headquartered in Downers Grove, Ill., for outstanding services by hotels.

Victorian Inn competed with more than 900 hotels throughout the U.S. and Canada for the award. The hotels were rated by travelers.

Others hotels receiving similar awards included the Omni Hotel, San Diego, Calif.; the EPCOT Center in Florida, and the Radisson Hotel-Lond Centre in London.

The Victorian Inn held an appreciation luncheon for its employees recently, in honor of the award.
