MORLEY STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARDS

MORLEY -- A number of students at Scott County Central High School received awards and scholarships at commencement ceremonies May 28.

Receiving awards were:

Tabitha Harris, athletic scholarship; Southeast Missouri State University.

Andy Johnson, Kevin Coffe, Ben Hicks and Carmen Thomas; Presidential Academic Fitness Award.

April Fort; athletic scholarship, John A. Logan College at Carterville, Ill.

Carmen Thomas; president's scholarship, Southeast Missouri State University.

Kevin Coffe; Morley Community Betterment Scholarship.

Jason Lovel; Community Teachers Association scholarship.

Kevin Coffe; athletic scholarship, Hannibal-LaGrange College at Hannibal, Mo.

Carmen Thomas, Andy Johnson and Kevin Coffe won George Washington Carver Awards,

Ben Hicks and Kevin Coffe received College Preparatory Studies certificates.
