BENTON, Mo. -- A 35-year-old Morley, Mo., man remained in the Scott County Jail on Monday on a felony charge of illegal possession of a controlled substance after he dropped a package of pills in a business, Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said in a news release.

An employee of Beacon Health Center reported to authorities that she found a cellophane wrapper containing 15 Xanax pills on the floor Saturday, the sheriff said. Robert Webb entered the business and said he was looking for his medication that could have fallen from a pocket on a previous visit, Walter said.
