Timothy Q. Ingram Sr., 52, of Morley, Missouri, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of domestic assault, a felony.
Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter stated in a news release Monday the sheriff's office responded to a call Sunday at 405 Marquand St. in Morley.
Walter said deputies spoke with the victim, who said she had gotten into an argument with Ingram, her live-in boyfriend. She said she had been seated when Ingram approached her, grabbed her by the hair and dragged her down the hallway.
The victim said she tried to get away from Ingram, who then struck her in the eye and mouth with his fist. When Ingram was questioned about the allegation, he claimed he had not assaulted the woman, and she had punched herself, the report stated.
Ingram was placed under arrest and taken to the Scott County Jail. He was booked pendin formal charges. Bond was set at $1,500 cash, and Ingram was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
