DEXTER, Mo. -- Thefts from parked vehicles continue to be a problem in Dexter, the Daily Statesman reported. Police received four reports of thefts Saturday. The thefts reportedly took place in the 700 block of Rannells Street, on Magnolia Drive, on Lakeview Drive and on the south end of Lewis Street. All remain under investigation. Police remind residents to lock their vehicles whenever they are parked and unoccupied, even if left for only a moment. Anyone with information regarding these or other thefts from vehicles is asked to call Dexter police at 573-624-5512.
