SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Transportation's Southeast District will hold a two-day sales event to sell its former maintenance lots in Brazeau, Delta, Marquand, Moody, Manes and Success.
The properties are part of the department's Realty to Roads program. The funds generated by these sales will be used for roadway improvements. The properties will be sold through live, on-site auctions. Auctions for the Brazeau, Delta and Marquand facilities will be held at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, on Oct. 29. Auctions for the Moody, Manes and Success facilities will be held at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, on Oct. 30.
The parcels range in size from 3.01 to 7.91 acres and include various shop buildings. Interested parties may view photos, boundaries surveys or additional property details at www.modot.org/southeast/RealtytoRoads.htm. Bids must be submitted during the live auctions. Phone bids will not be accepted. All sales are subject to final approval by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, which reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. The properties will be sold in "as is" condition.
