MoDOT schedules repairs on I-55 in three counties next week

Sections of Interstate 55 in three counties will be reduced to one lane this week.

Crews will perform concrete repairs in the northbound lanes from Route E to Route PP in Scott County, closing one lane from 7:30 a.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Crews will also perform concrete repairs in Cape Girardeau County from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. During this time, only one southbound lane from Highway 74 to Route AB will be open.

In Perry County, only one northbound lane from Route B to Highway 51 will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday while a contractor stripes the roadway.
