The Missouri Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be making concrete repairs on Interstate 55 one mile south of Route K in Cape Girardeau County today. Traffic will be reduced to one southbound lane from 8 a.m. today until noon on Friday while the work is being done. MoDOT also has plans to work along Route V in Cape Girardeau County this week, replacing a drainage pipe beneath the roadway. Traffic will be reduced to one lane -- at the intersection of Route 177 and Route V to the intersection of Route Y and Route V -- from noon to 4 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
