MoDOT crews to replace guardrail Wednesday on Route U

SIKESTON, Mo. — Route U in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews replace the guardrail. This section of roadway is located between Highway 34 and County Road 371. Weather permitting, the work will take place Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
