SIKESTON, Mo. -- The following roads are scheduled for MoDOT improvements. All projects will proceed depending on the weather.

Butler County
A MoDOT traffic signal crew will be performing maintenance and upgrades on signals on Route WW at Henry Street in Poplar Bluff. The work is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
Cape Girardeau County
U.S. 61 from Route Y to Interstate 55 near Fruitland will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. MoDOT crews will use a 12-foot width restriction while performing shoulder repairs in the northbound and southbound lanes.
Perry County
MoDOT contractor APAC-Missouri Inc. of Columbia, Mo., will start I-55 improvements midmorning today. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during construction.
The crews will underseal the pavement and resurface it from Route B near Biehle to Route T near Perryville. Drivers should expect rough travel for three or four weeks.
Scott County
Westbound U.S. 60 between I-55 and U.S. 61 in Scott and New Madrid counties, is reduced to one lane with a width restriction of 16 feet while MoDOT crews perform concrete repairs. Work is scheduled to be finished by 5 p.m. April 22.
Northbound Route 77, two miles north of Oran, will be reduced to one lane for a patching project, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
Flooding update
MoDOT has closed several Southeast Missouri routes due to flooding. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution and plan alternate routes.
Closed routes are:
Bollinger County
n Route H from Highway 51 to Route FF
Butler County
n Route N, the entire length of the route
Mississippi County
n Highway 80 from the levee to the ferry landing
New Madrid County
n Route P from County Road 717 to County Road 727
Perry County
n Route E from County Road 322 to the levee road
Scott County
n Route W from Route CC to Route P -- closed to bridge damage.
Madison County
n Route V, entire length of the route.
Wayne County
n Route FF from Highway 67 to Highway 34
