LADUE, Mo. (AP) -- You'll have to excuse 17-year-old Gregg Fox if he wasn't too stressed about taking the ACT college entrance exam. The teen from the St. Louis suburb of Ladue has already faced tougher challenges.
Fox aced the exam -- one of just four Missouri students to get perfect scores. More remarkably, he did it after twice being diagnosed and treated for a brain tumor.
Fox was first diagnosed three days into eighth grade and spent a month in the hospital. After treatment, he had to relearn how to speak and walk.
The tumor came back. This time, he had to deal with radiation.
Now, doctors say his prognosis is excellent. He's still deciding on which college to attend.
