GOWER, Mo. (AP) -- Authorities have arrested a student at one of three schools in a northwest Missouri school district targeted by bomb threats for a week.

The juvenile was arrested at about 1 p.m. Tuesday at a home near East Buchanan High School in Gower, which was shut down with the district's elementary and middle schools for six days.

Police and school officials investigated a series of notes saying a bomb was planted at the high school. No bombs were found.

Police say there's no evidence the suspect had any bomb-making materials, but they believe he left at least some of the notes.

The district has about 730 students.

Police are still investigating the suspect's motive and whether he was responsible for a note left at middle school in Easton.
