SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri State University has received a $2.75 million grant to develop a business and technology center.

The Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center will be located in downtown Springfield in a former Willow Brook Foods facility.

The center will house the university's technology and construction management department, the Small Business and Technology Development Center and a business incubator.

Missouri State officials say the project is possible because of the federal stimulus package.
