Missouri Right to Life endorses Tracy

Missouri Right to Life endorsed Clint Tracy over rivals Wayne Wallingford and Jeff Glenn in the Republican primary for the 158th District Missouri House seat.

Tracy received the backing of the organization, one of the state's oldest pro-life groups, based on the way he answered a 15-question survey on topics including whether abortion should be illegal, whether physicians and pharmacists can refuse "morning after" pills to patients and the use of genetic material for research. The ratings released by Missouri Right to Life showed Tracy was most acceptable to the group, while Wallingford was listed as "pro-life" and Glenn was listed as having a "mixed" response.

"I am honored to receive this endorsement and will work to protect the rights of the innocent," Tracy said in a news release announcing the endorsement. Tracy, Glenn and Wallingford are running in the Aug. 5 primary. The winner will have no opposition in the fall campaign.
