Christian County Sheriff Brad Cole said he's asked a wildlife expert in Florida to examine photos of Vogt's "severe" wounds to determine what type of animals attacked Vogt.

Cole said no one has reported seeing any packs of dogs in the area where Vogt was attacked, and officers who canvassed the area did not find a pack of dogs.
