For the fifth consecutive year, Boatmen's Bancshares Inc. will sponsor scholarships for college juniors and seniors attending 15 private colleges that comprise the Missouri Colleges Funds.
The Boatmen's Bancshares Community Achievement Award will be granted this spring to students who combine academic achievement with community and civic involvement.
One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded by each of the 15 colleges fund member institutions for the fall 1993 academic year.
Interested students should apply to the college of their choice by March 31.
Participating colleges are Avila College, Kansas City; Central Methodist College, Fayette; College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout; Columbia College, Columbia' Culver-Stockton College, Canton; Drury College, Springfield; Evangel College, Springfield; Fontbonne College, St. Louis; Maryville University, St. Louis; Park College, Parkville; Rockhurst College, Kansas City; Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar; Westminster College, Fulton; William Jewell College, Liberty; and William Woods College, Fulton.
