The Web site includes background information about surveys of Missourians and locations for regional working group meetings that the public can attend.

The MAP initiative is being led by HNTB Corp., a national engineering and consulting firm. The consultants received a $1.5 million contract from MoDOT to conduct the study. The company's report is scheduled to be presented to the Highways and Transportation Commission in May 2006.
