One of the dogs that went missing from the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri has been returned. On Aug. 2, two dogs, a 7-year-old male, chocolate pit bull terrier named Hazard and a 9-month-old female, blue American Staffordshire terrier named Silvey were discovered missing when employees found that the fences containing the dogs had been cut and the dogs taken. The Humane Society confirmed Tuesday that the female, Silvey, has been returned, but would not release details on where the dog was found. Investigators are still trying to find the other missing dog. For more information or tips, call the Humane Society at 334-5837.
