MILTON, Fla. -- Two youths missing from Perry County since last week were found in Florida Monday morning.
The Perry County Sheriff's Department announced Monday morning that the Santa Rosa County, Fla. sheriff's department had located the vehicle of two runaway juveniles who left Perry County a week ago at a residence in Milton, Fla.
Sheriff Gary Schaaf said the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Department contacted him about 8 a.m. saying it had Brandon Lundmark and Brianna Williams in custody.
Schaaf said a Santa Rosa County deputy spotted the pickup truck Brandon was driving, 2002 Z-71 Chevrolet pickup truck, belonging to his father.
The deputy followed them into a driveway and took them into custody, he said.
"As far as I know they cooperated," with the deputy, Schaaf said, adding that he hasn't spoken with the Santa Rosa County deputy as of 12:10 p.m. Monday.
According to a news release from the Perry County Sheriff's Department the vehicle -- stolen from Lundmark's father on March 19 -- will be taken to a tow lot in Milton, and the youths will be transported to a juvenile detention facility until Missouri juvenile authorities can arrange for transport back to Perryville.
Police say 14-year-old Brandon took his father's pickup truck, cash and an ATM card about midnight March 19 and then left the area after picking up Brianna, 12.
