A workshop is scheduled for Sept. 24 to provide more information about the Miss Jackson, Miss Missouri and Miss America Scholarship program.
The workshop will begin at 2 p.m. at the Community Room of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce building, 125 E. Main.
The current Miss Jackson, Kim Massaro, will answer questions from new contestants.
The scholarship program is open to young women between the ages of 17 and 24 who are residents of Missouri or are enrolled in a college or university in the state.
The Miss Jackson pageant will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Jackson High School Auditorium. It is governed by the rules of the Miss Missouri and Miss America Scholarship Program. It is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Missouri contest.
