The National Weather Service in Paducah, Ky., issued a flood warning for the Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau this morning, though flooding on the river is expected to be minor.According to the warning the river is forecast to go above flood stage — 32 feet on the Cape Girardeau gauge — by Saturday morning, going to nearly 34 feet by Monday morning.There should be little impact from the flooding. No flood gates are closed until the river reaches 36 feet, when the Themis gate must be closed.
