PUXICO -- Self-guided auto tours will continue this week at Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The tours will be held each Sunday during October and November.

The tour route starts at the Mingo Visitor Center, a mile and a half north of Puxico, on Highway 51, and end at the Redmill Drive exit to Highway 51. The 25-mile route is mostly gravel and usually takes about two hours to drive.

Entrance fees will require visitors to obtain an annual pass, or a $2 vehicle entry permit prior to driving the route.
