Tommy Wilson, assistant fire chief, is acting as interim fire chief while the board makes a decision on a replacement for Allen, according to Thompson.

The two officers who are no longer with the department are Brad McKlin and Don Tinnin, according Police Chief Roger Moore.

"These two officers came to me on Wednesday morning and handed in resignations for personal reasons and are looking for other jobs," Moore said. "We are accepting applications at this time."
