Jason B. Jaco, 16, was driving east in his 1961 GMC pickup with a passenger, Phillip J. Howard, 15, when he attempted to pass another vehicle at about 6:15 p.m.

While attempting to pass, Jaco lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road, causing the car to overturn, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
