Cape man graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman Kenneth W. Cross Jr. has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Cross is the son of Dianna Kieltsch of Rodney Vista, Cape Girardeau.

Bowman completes U.S. Navy basic training

Navy Seaman Apprentice Tyler R. Bowman, son of Billie J. and Oral R. Bowman of Advance, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill., with honors and was promoted to his current rank. Bowman is a 2005 graduate of Advance High School of Advance, Mo.

Local men graduate from basic combat training

Army Reserve Pvts. Andrew D. Mahurin, Justin L. Greable and Lee A. Everett have graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Mahurin is the son of Kandye S. and Dale Mahurin of Uniontown. Everett is the son of Becky L. Everett and W. Davidson of Chaffee and Randy Everett of Jackson. Greable is the son of Tammy L. Greable of Jackson.
