Lindsay promoted to private first class

Heather Lindsay, daughter of Kurt and Diane Lindsay of Cape Girardeau, was recently promoted to the rank of private first class at the Cape Girardeau Armory. Lindsay is a member of the Missouri Army National Guard's 1140th Engineer Battalion. She graduated from Central High School in 2005 and is employed as a human resources specialist with the Missouri National Guard.

Pair of Guardsmen promoted during drill

Jason Anton and Joseph B. Carr were promoted recently to the rank of private first class during drill at the Jackson Armory. Anton is the son of Sharon and Hugh Aldredge of Jackson. Carr is the son of Bart and Karen Carr of Cape Girardeau. Anton and Carr are members of the Missouri Army National Guard's 735th Quartermaster Company. Anton graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1998 and is pursuing a degree in computer applications in physics and engineering at Southeast Missouri State University. Carr graduated from Central High School in 2004 and is currently employed by Auto Tire and Parts.

Schafer receives promotion in Guard

Adam L. Schafer, son of William Schafer of Cape Girardeau, was recently promoted to the rank of private second class during drill at the Jackson Armory. Schafer is a member of the Missouri Army National Guard's 735th Quartermaster Company. He is a graduate of Central High School.
