Three complete Army basic training
Joshua T. Butler, a private in the U.S. Army, has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
He received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history and traditions.
Butler is the son of Katherine James of Jackson, Mo., and is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School.
David A. Flores, a private in the U.S. Army Reserves, has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
During training, he received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history and traditions.
He is the son of Margie Storz of Delta, Mo., and a 2001 graduate of Delta High School.
Bradley Neels of Cape Girardeau, a private in the U.S. Army, recently graduated from basic training and advance military police training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He was awarded the military occupation specialty for a military police officer in the Missouri Army National Guard.
He is a 2001 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and is the son of Jerry and Rhonda Neels.
Benton woman enters eight weeks of training
Regina K. Redmon, a private in the U.S. Army, has entered basic military training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the eight weeks of training, she will study the Army mission and receive instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid and special training in human relations.
She is the daughter of Pamala VanPool of Benton, Mo., and is a 2001 graduate of Kelly High School.
