JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Scott City police chiefDon Cobb was recently chosen as the Missouri Army National Guard's 35th Engineer Brigade Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year after appearing before a board of senior NCOs. Cobb is a member of Headquarters Company 1140th Engineer Battalion in Cape Girardeau, were he works as a medic during drills. Before heading to the brigade board, he was first selected by Headquarters Company to compete at the battalion board and won. Cobb enlisted when he was 17 and has spent 15 years with in National Guard. Cobb is married to the former Teresa Taylor. Their three children are Joshua, Caleb and Ruthie.
