The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents recently reappointed Mike Buck to the Show Me Center Board of Managers. Buck's new term will expire Dec. 1, 2017. His current term expires Dec. 1 this year. Buck, director of recreational services at Southeast, has served two years, completing the term of Troy Vaughn, who left Southeast in August 2012. Along with Buck, Kathy Mangels, vice president for finance and administration and treasurer at Southeast, and Dr. Beth Easter, associate professor of health, human performance and recreation, are the university's representatives on the board. City representatives are city manager Scott Meyer, Luke Landgraf and Cordell Dombrowski. The Multi-use Center Agreement between the city of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri State University calls for the city council and board of regents each to appoint three members to the Show Me Center board. Members serve three-year staggered terms, so only two members are appointed each year.
