The fourth annual Midwest Minis National Juried Exhibition has come to Cape Girardeau.

The show opened Friday night at Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts' newly relocated Gallery 100. It continues through Feb. 25.

Beverly Strohmeyer, executive director of the arts council, said the new "intimate" Gallery 100, located at 1707 Mt. Auburn Rd. is a cozy setting for this exhibit of small artworks from across the country. Pieces of artwork must measure 14 inches and under.

John Boos of Cape Girardeau juried the Midwest Minis '94 Exhibition, viewing entries from 18 states and selecting the best for the exhibit.

Several artists from past Midwest Minis shows have entered work again this year.
