Heather E. Meyer of Cape Girardeau has been awarded a Regents' Scholarship and Girls State Leadership Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 1995-96 academic year.

The Regents' Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who graduate in the top 10 percent of their class and who have achieved an ACT score of 28 or SAT score of 1,160. The award covers full-time fees per semester and is renewable for four years if the recipient maintains a 3.5 grade-point average.

The Girl's State Leadership Award is a one-time $300 award to be applied towards residence hall fees. Recipients must have attended Girl's State, have an ACT composite score of 23 and a 3.0 grade-point average after six or seven semesters and be a beginning freshman.

Meyer is the daughter of Thomas and Mary Meyer of Cape Girardeau and will be a 1995 graduate of Notre Dame High School.
