DEXTER, Mo. -- A Dexter man is in jail after police and Stoddard County sheriff's deputies allegedly found an active meth lab in his home, according to the Daily Statesman. Billy J. Robinson, 35, of 212 S. Mulberry St. in Dexter is being held on $50,000 bond. A report filed by deputy Keith Haynes of the sheriff's office says police served a search warrant Friday after an investigation into drug activity at the home. Inside, police found an active methamphetamine lab, along with methamphetamine and digital scales, according to the report. Robinson was at home alone at the time the warrant was served. Prescription pills also were found on him, police said. Robinson is charged with the manufacture of meth and possession of methamphetamine.
