The Jackson Merchants Association is sponsoring its second annual Spring Fling April 29, in conjunction with the Scenic Drive held that day.

High Street, from Main south, to Adams, will be closed off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for this celebration. There will be games for the kids provided by the Noon Optimist Club, food stands, crafters and the merchants will be having side walk sales.

"We're planning a fun-filled day for families to be able to enjoy their community as well as a day for visitors to see what Jackson has to offer," said Ken Phelps, JMA president. "We would like to extend an invitation for you to stop in and visit each of the businesses and let us get to know you personally. That is what the Spirit of the Spring Fling is all about."
