MEN'S VOCAL GROUP PERFORMS WITH CAPE MUNY BAND TONIGHT

The Moon Dogs, a men's vocal group headed by Dr. Ron Peterson of Charleston, will be the featured attraction at tonight's Municipal Band Concert.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the band shell in Capaha Park.

The group offers tunes in the style of the Beach Boys and other vocal ensembles from the 1950s and 1960s.

Pieces performed by the band include: March Chalumeau, Appalachian Overture, Bubbling Woodwinds, My Kind of Towns, Manhattan Beach March, Matador, and selections from Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, Cats.

Ron Nall will conduct. Patrons are requested to bring their own lawn chairs.
