* The Joint Veterans Group in Cape Girardeau will host a Memorial Day program at the Osage Community Centre from 11 a.m. to noon.

* The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will perform a concert of marches and patriotic music at 10:30 a.m.

* The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will hold a special Memorial Day concert at the band shell to honor veterans beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Free admission, and bring a lawn chair.

* In Jackson, a Memorial Day service sponsored by American Legion Post 158 and the American Legion Auxiliary will be held at the city cemetery at 9 a.m. The Jackson Municipal Band will perform, and Wayne Wallingford will be a guest speaker.

* The Cape Girardeau VFW will display flags at Cape County Park, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

* Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville will hold its annual Memorial Day supper at 4 p.m. Chicken and dumplings, ham and sides will be served. Adults and children 12 and older pay $8, children ages 6 to 11, children age 5 and younger 5 eat for free.
