Former members of Southeast Missouri State University capella choirs, which were under the direction of J. Clyde Brandt from 1936 until his retirement, will perform at Southeast Missouri State University's Homecoming festivities.
Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 11 and 12.
This year marks the 55th anniversary of the founding of the choir by Brandt, who was affectionately known as "Doc." In addition to performing, members will hold a reunion at Brandt Hall on campus on Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Former members of the choir will perform at a luncheon on Oct. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the Show Me Center.
The choir reunion committee is seeking to reach former members of the choir who aren't yet aware of the reunion.
Registration for the reunion can be made through the Alumni Services office at the university, or by writing to H. Russell Carter, 2659 Midland Ridge Dr., St. Louis, Mo. 63114.
