The City of Cape Girardeau is holding two meetings related to adoption of the city's Five-Year Capital Improvement Program.
At 4:30 p.m. Monday in the city council chambers, the Cape Girardeau City Council will review the draft for the fiscal year 2015 to 2020 Capital Improvement Program. The program is a planning instrument that drives the evaluation and identification of infrastructure that needs renovations, repairs or construction, including transportation, water, wastewater and facility projects.
The city council also will have a public hearing at 7 p.m. March 2 on the proposed program. The draft document will be available at city hall for review and inspection and on the city's website at cityofcape.org.
