Missouri development programs and how they work with local communities to create new jobs will be the subject of a two-hour meeting to be held March 19 at the Drury Inn in Cape Girardeau.
Business people, government and development representatives from an 18-county region have been invited to the meeting.
"A number of topics will be discussed," said Garry Taylor, deputy director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development, which is sponsoring the 7:15 p.m. program. "These include state, community and business development tax incentives, state job training assistance, research and business assistance information, tourism and others."
The program is free. Anyone planning to attend should call 1-800-523-1434.
