A public meeting to launch Jackson's DREAM Initiative project has been scheduled for March 1. The meeting will feature a keynote address from Mike Hemmer of PGAV Inc., the planning firm hired by the Missouri Development Finance Board and the Missouri Department of Economic Development to work with Jackson on its DREAM project.
The public is welcome to attend, and input is encouraged.
The DREAM Initiative helps small and midsized Missouri communities improve access to existing state programs that help with downtown revitalization and job creation efforts. The DREAM Initiative allows communities to more efficiently and effectively engage in downtown redevelopment and revitalization, as well as attract new private investment into their communities.
The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. March 1 at the Jackson Chamber of Commerce.
