  • Ordinance accepting the dedication of a drainage easement and sanitary sewer easement deed from Litz Brothers Inc., for the final plat of Bent Creek Subdivision, Phase 6.
  • Ordinance authorizing a contractual agreement with Jackson Ridge Development LLC, Brandon O. Williams Development LLC, and Scott R. Vangennip of Jackson for the purchase of real estate.
  • Ordinance authorizing the acceptance of a general warranty deed from Jackson Ridge Development LLC, Brandon O. Williams Development LLC, and Scott R. Vangennip.
  • Ordinance approving task order authorization No. 08-09, in the amount of $41,900.00, to Allen & Hoshall, of Memphis, Tenn., for providing engineering services under the 34.5 kV Electric Transmission Line Project, Task 5.

Street Committee

  • A resolution accepting a voluntary annexation petition from Ella D. Hampton, for 5.72 acres of property addressed as 4193 Bainbridge Road (Co. Road 306), and setting a public hearing for July 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Cape Girardeau County

The Cape Girardeau County Commission meets at 9 a.m. today in the third floor chambers of the county administration building, 1 Barton Sq., Jackson.

The tentative agenda includes acknowledging the Recorder of Deeds' certificate of training and approving minutes of Thursday's Cape County Transit Authority board meeting.

Action Items

  • Approval of previous minutes, purchase orders, bills to be paid.
  • Reappointment of members to the County Welfare Commission Board.
  • Request from Morley Swingle, the county's prosecuting attorney, to hire new legal secretary.
  • Consideration of hiring an appraiser for park property.
