Meet The Editor

Hello readers.

I will be taking over as the editor of Business Today beginning with the May issue.

I started at the Southeast Missourian in the middle of February as the business editor. Not only am I new to the position at the daily, but I am new to Southeast Missouri.

I've lived in upstate New York most of my life -- near Seneca Lake. As the major hub between St. Louis and Memphis, there is plenty of business news to write about in Cape Girardeau and surrounding counties -- people from other states are purchasing real estate here, new businesses are blossoming and more roads will be built.

The location is drawing people in. Seems that the area will continue to prosper -- and the timing is good to report for the local newspaper.

I was up for a major change in my life, journalism has been a passion and

I'm proud that the business community has welcomed me in.

I look forward to doing more business reporting.
