The Midwestern River Cities Chapter of American Association for Medical Transcription will sponsor an educational symposium on Saturday, not Wednesday as stated in Sunday's newspaper.
The event will be held at Southeast Missouri Hospital, with registration at 8 a.m. Four continuing education credits will be offered through national AAMT.
Medical lectures will be provided by: Dr. Scot Pringle on "Hormones and Menopause;" Jo Clayton-Dodd, registered nurse, on "Tamoxifen Breast Cancer Study;" Jana Tesch, on "Networking," and Barbara McKeon, registered nurse, on "Time and Stress Management."
Area medical transcriptionists from physicians offices, hospitals, clinics, and anyone interested is invited to attend.
