Kaden Cook, a senior at Meadow Heights High school, has big dreams for his life after graduation. He wants to attend Oklahoma shoeing school.
"I want to start my own business one day," said Cook, who has experience working with horses.
He said his senior year has been "boring so far," with not much to do, and he is counting down the days until graduation.
Cook currently plays basketball on the Meadow Heights boys basketball team. But this will be the last year for his basketball career because he does not plan to play any sports in college.
He is also a member of the Meadow Heights Beta Club and FFA.
One of Cook's favorite things to do in his free time is hanging out with his girlfriend, Taylor Jones.
Jones said Cook is a hard worker and that he is "pretty chill." She also said that he has a very high work ethic and is very hopeful that his plans for his business will work out.
Their favorite thing to do together, Jones said, is going out and feeding his goats. She also loves going to the creek with Cook's whole family in the summertime.
Cheyenne Tonjum is a very involved senior at Meadow Heights High School.
She is the vice president of Student Council, Pep Club, Beta Club and FCCLA, and a member of FFA and Smoke Busters. And she also plays basketball and volleyball.
The highlight of Tonjum's senior year was when she broke four school records. She broke most career kills, most season kills, most career blocks and most season blocks in volleyball.
"I am so proud of Cheyenne for breaking all four records," said Bailey Kennedy, the volleyball coach. "I knew one of her goals this year was to break one or two, but all four? That's incredible. Cheyenne is a go-getter, an all-out player and even a beast. She always tries her hardest and gives her all, even in practice. She wants the best for her team and always pushes herself to her limit."
Although it is sad to see her go, Kennedy is excited to see where volleyball takes Tonjum, who plans to continue her volleyball career at Mineral Area College on a volleyball scholarship.
In her free time, Tonjum enjoys hanging out with her best friend, Madisen Denman.
Denman and Tonjum have been close friends for 14 years. They even went to preschool together at Meadow Heights. Denman said she enjoys playing sports with Tonjum and watching her get worked up over card games.
