Meadow Heights senior spotlight

Gabby Keasling is an 18-year-old senior at Meadow Heights.

She is involved in FCCLA and Smokebusters. She has been involved in FCCLA since her sophomore year, and Smokebusters since her junior year.

Keasling currently doesn't have any plans yet for after graduation, but does work at Circle U Bar and Grill in Sedgewickville.

"I'm, like, the main man. I run that place. I know how to do every job there," Keasling said.

In 10 years, she sees herself married to Braeden Hays, her boyfriend, and living in a huge house with two small, adorable children.

In her free time, Keasling likes to spend money, hang out with her boyfriend, do some self-care, and chill with her mother.

Her two best friends, Taylor Jones and Katrina Seabaugh, had a lot to say about their friend.

"We have so many good memories, there's too many to pick from. I would describe her as goofy, pretty, unique and supportive. No matter how annoying she can get, she's a good friend," Jones said.

"Gabby's reliable and is a good person when she wants to be," Seabaugh said. "She's a giver."

Keasling will miss all of her friends she has here after she graduates, and has the following advice for incoming freshmen and any new students.

"Just be yourself. Don't be, like, don't worry so much about what others think about you because at the end of the day, it only matters about what you think."
