McDougall named Southeast interim provost

Dr. Gerald McDougall was named interim provost and chief academic officer of Southeast Missouri State University, according to a university news release.

McDougall is dean of the college of business and associate provost of extended and online learning. McDougall has been with Southeast since 1993 and has helped the university expand degree programs and establish the Center for Business and Economic Research, the innovation center and more.

McDougall replaces Dr. Ron Rosati, who took a position with Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Neb.
