MCCLURE MAN NAMED TO MEDICAL PROGRAM
MCCLURE, Ill. -- Kenneth D. Phillips Jr. of McClure has been accepted in the family practice residency program at the University of Illinois. He will serve his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. MCCLURE, Ill. -- Kenneth D. Phillips Jr. of McClure has been accepted in the family practice residency program at the University of Illinois.
He will serve his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Phillips received a bachelor of arts degree in physiology and biological science from Southern Illinois University in 1986 and a master's degree in biology from the University of Illinois in 1987.
He will graduate in May with a M.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
Phillips is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Phillips of McClure.
