MCCLAIN WILL RETIRE AS MANAGER OF CAPE GIRARDEAU KMART

John McClain has announced his retirement as Kmart manager at the Cape Girardeau store, effective Aug. 1.

McClain, who started with Kmart in 1955, has been manager at the Cape Girardeau store 17 years.

Jerry Zikmund, manager of the Kennett Kmart store, will assume the manager's position here Aug. 1.

McClain will be guest of honor at a retirement picnic Sunday, to be held at Cape Girardeau County North Park, at 4 p.m. at Pavilion #1.

Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m.

Present and former employee are urged to attend the picnic.
