JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- The official results are in, and Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are still the winners of Missouri's presidential primaries. Secretary of State Robin Carnahan on Monday certified the results of the Feb. 5 primaries. McCain received 193,932 votes compared with 185,577 for Mike Huckabee and 172,231 for Mitt Romney. Obama received 405,637 votes compared with 394,400 for Hillary Clinton. Because Republicans use a winner-take-all approach, McCain will receive all 58 Missouri delegates to the Republican National Convention. Because Democrats divide delegates on a proportional basis, Obama and Clinton each will receive 36 delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
